University Dissertation

Writing a university dissertation is a wonderful opportunity for a student to learn more about the subject of his study as well as to think more deeply about the topic while putting words on paper.
Collecting information for your paper is a top priority, and since a number of topics are likely to be new to you, it is well worth looking at works of several authors and considering their ideas and viewpoints. In addition to your textbook you should also use the library as a useful source of information. Remember that your opinion should be backed up by arguments and facts.

Recording information is the next step in writing your paper. There are a number of ways to record what you read, namely marking the book with pencils or highlighting pens; using 3*5 index cards; or summarizing a chapter on legal paper.

After you’ve read as much as possible on your topic present your thoughts. This can be done as a connected argument or a series of headings related to each other and organized in a way which makes sense of what you have read.

Writing out a plan is obligatory – it will help you state your ideas and thoughts clearer throughout the writing.

Editing your paper is another important stage that requires your paper to be corrected and improved in style.
